The Lower Deck bedroom has the options of two 6’6” cast iron single beds, which can be zip & linked together to form a super king, making the room ideal for either friends or couples. Lower Deck guests have exclusive use of the adjoining first floor living room with smart TV and sea views, and a fabulous private shower room (dressing gowns are provided). Your breakfast is freshly cooked to order and served in our spacious ground floor dining kitchen by the log burner.

Our Story
Hello! We’re Alison & Paul and we’re the owners of The Upper Deck at Britannia House. We have a passion for great food, for Cornwall & providing our guests with a relaxing and wonderful stay.
We have two spacious sea view B&B suites for a very special stay, and after a good night’s sleep, Alison’s fabulous freshly cooked breakfasts are the perfect way to start the day and set you up to explore this stunning area of outstanding natural beauty.
During July and August we take a break from being a B&B and offer the whole of Britannia House for your exclusive use as a luxurious ‘4 Star Gold’ Self-Catering Holiday Property sleeping six.

Marazion is best known for being the gateway to the magnificent island castle of St Michaels Mount. Situated just 3 miles from Penzance in the gorgeous Penwith peninsular close to Land’s End, St Ives and The Lizard.
Britannia House is a fine Victorian house just 100m from the sea overlooking the ocean a close walking distance from the quaint town centre of Marazion with it’s two sandy beaches and causeway to St Michaels Mount.
We offer free off-site car parking just a gentle walk away, and we’re just a 10 minute taxi ride from Penzance rail and bus stations.

We believe that there are a few prerequisites that an exclusive bed and breakfast must have - relaxing décor, very comfortable beds, immaculate bathrooms, fresh linens, fluffy towels, fresh flowers and a hearty breakfast with plenty of choice and personal service. Being an exclusive B&B with only two spacious guest suites we are able to offer high quality private accommodation where you are unlikely to bump into or be disturbed by other guests staying with us.
We are sensitive to guest needs and remain unobtrusively on hand to offer tips on the best places to eat or visit, to ensure you make the most of your time according to tides and weather.
Private guided tours or boat trips with Paul on his Gaff Cutter ‘Lily’ moored in St Michael’s Mount Harbour can be arranged.
